We made it! After a year or two of construction—I don’t remember anymore—we finally got our doors open. The first month had the usual bumps and bruises, but our food from the beginning has been excellent and we have been rewarded with a bevy of satisfied customers who have been regulars.
We have just released our new menu, our second, which includes a few new items. You’ll find some new breakfast items—oatmeal, fresh egg omelets, and our popular bacon pancakes (yummy!)—and for lunch, the Runner-Runner has proven to be popular. Hot chicken, melted Swiss, and crispy bacon sandwich served with lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing. Delicious!
Also new, is a Philly cheese steak. Of course we don’t call it that! On our menu, it’s the Bankroll and we think it will be as fantastic as you hope for. London Broil roast beef, real Italian bread, provolone, and grilled onions and peppers—yes, we got it right. Or try Bankroll’s cousin, the Railbird, which is made with chicken instead.
Me, I’m a salad eater, so that’s what I usually can be found eating. But don’t count me out on those Brooklyn heros!
